The CPR-D padz are one-piece, reducing the risk of misplacement. The electrodes contain an integrated sensor that lands on the sternum when pasted. This sensor records the depth and frequency of chest compressions. This activates the feedback function of the AED. This means that the A E D can give instructions during chest compressions, such as 'press harder' or 'good chest compressions'.
