The ideal bandage is made of 100% cotton and does not fray. The material is tightly woven, making the bandages non-elastic and suitable for applying pressure to bruises and sprains (as fixation) and/or for applying a wound pressure bandage (to stop bleeding). The bandage is washable and can be disinfected.
